Porex® Porous Plastic Silencers, constructed of polyethylene, were engineered to balance noise reduction and acceptable backpressure in the pneumatic system. In addition, the porous polyethylene composition used for the silencer solution provides a significantly lower weight, excellent corrosion resistance, and the ability to filter particles and aerosols. The Porex silencers are equipped with an injection-molded adapter and a variety of connection options that are easy to mount on pneumatic systems. Available in a wide range of sizes that fit most standard valves, including NPT, BSP, M5, and “push-in” styles, the Porex silencers offer numerous advantages over acoustical silencers constructed of metal – including significantly lower weight and greatly improved corrosion resistance, durability, assembly speed, and cost efficiency.
